Acquisition dozenhal by Van de Velde Packaging
Van De Velde Packaging strengthens its market position by a new acquisition of Dutch company Dozenhal, a trader specialized in the selling of used boxes and old, leftover stocks. This way they stimulate the reuse of cardboard boxes, by offering their clients a cheap and sustainable packaging solution. With 2 warehouses & production facility in the Netherlands and a salesteam in Germany. In the production site in The Netherlands they manufacture corrugated boxes in small quantities, they have a unique position in the packaging market.
Robin Dirksen will be introduced as the CEO of Dozenhal and will be learning the tricks of the trade from the current management.
Van De Velde Packaging is active in BE, NL, FR, DE, PL, IT and TR with 16 production sites.
The group is specialized in manufacturing fibre based pakaging and packaging machines, supporting their customers in the development of the entire packaging process. With the latest acquisitions the group has broadened and strengthened their portfolio with the production of cups, microflute packaging, stickers, cards and catalogues. With this new acquisition of Dozenhal they enter a new market of reselling used boxes and leftover stocks.
