From 2011, GKB is active on the market of Coffee cups. Since then, the company has grown into one of the largets players in this segment.
In addition to its own production of paper cups, there is a wide range of plastic cups, coffee lids, stirrers, sugar sticks and creamer sticks and much more. In short: GKB has all products in-house related to coffee for large and small users. The sale of disposable cups started as a marketing concept.
A walking bill board in the hand of consumers was a big success. A lot of companies saw the added value of a personalised coffee cup with their own brand and logo on it.
GKB has a smaller production facility in the Netherlands, in Groningen. Here we produce smaller quantities and reserve capacity for urgent orders to maintain flexible to their clients. Gross of the cups are manufactured in China, were we have a partition in a production company as well.

With a turnover of more than € 55 million, GKB is by far the market leader in the Benelux and is growing rapidly in other European countries including in France and Germany. All coffee cups are produced in the company’s own production facilities in the Netherlands and China.

GKB stands for swift delivery of highquality coffee cups at competitive prices and continuously invests in its state-ofthe art machine park. GKB will continue to serve its customers in its familiar way from Groningen and its current management team led by Mike Lubben will remain responsible for the company’s daily business operations.
By joining forces GKB and Van De Velde Packaging Group aim to become the largest producer of cardboard coffee cups in Europe, with GKB taking the lead in the rollout from its brand new head office in Groningen. Demand for cardboard coffee cups is growing strongly, driven by the switch from plastic cups to cardboard cups.
