Nicolas Brungert, plant manager

Nicolas joined the Van De Velde Packaging Group in February as plant manager at our German site in Velbert. He started his professional career in the automotive industry, working in several process engineering, production management and European operations roles before switching to the world of packaging.

What he likes most about his new role is the opportunities it gives him to market best-in-class packaging solutions, provide extraordinary service and quality to our customers, and work as part of a highly motivated, innovative and effective team.

Nicolas: “Based on its long history as a family-owned business, Van de Velde Packaging knows people are key to long lasting success. I understood this immediately when I came into the German plant and got to know our employees.”

Nicolas is married and has two children. In his leisure time, he loves being with his family. He unwinds and recharges his batteries downhill biking and playing the euphonium at his local wind orchestra.
